PREPARING FOR AN ENERGY ASSESSMENT OR A HOME CONDITION REPORT GOLDING HOME INSPECTIONS ![]() FOR COMPLETE HIPs AND EPCs TOO When you first get in touch with Golding Home Inspections - by phone, email or fax - you will be asked for your contact details and some basic information regarding the property in question - number of bedrooms, approximate age, whether it is a listed building etc. This will give us enough information to be able to provide you with a very competitive quotation for your specific requirements. We will then agree a convenient date and time with you for the energy assessor or home inspector to visit. Our fees can be paid by cash, cheque, bank transfer or credit card via PayPal - whatever is most convenient for you. Why not click on the "Contact Us" button on the left and start the ball rolling right now? WE INSPECT ALL TYPES OF 1980'S HOUSES ![]() WE ASSESS THEIR CONDITION AND PREPARE ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES We will give you an estimate of the length of time the visit will take when we book in your appointment. As a rough guide, an energy assessment takes 45 minutes to an hour, whilst a full inspection for a Home Condition Report takes approximately two and a half hours. The actual times are, of course, entirely dependent on the size and design of the property. The Home Inspector or Energy Assessor will call promptly as arranged (We pride ourselves on punctuality) and get on with the inspection. You are free to accompany the inspector or assessor during the inspection or assessment, or you can leave him or her to get on it - whatever you prefer. Ideally, the seller(s) themselves should be present; if not, an estate agent or a responsible adult appointed by the seller(s) should be there instead. (A responsible adult MUST be 18 years of age or older) |
